1:350 Trumpeter 05633 Aircraft Carrier Weser Plastic Model kit

The 1:350 Trumpeter 05633 Aircraft Carrier Weser model kit allows you to recreate a rare and intriguing piece of naval history. Originally constructed as the heavy cruiser Seydlitz of the Admiral Hipper class, the vessel was nearly completed before Germany decided in 1942 to convert her into an auxiliary aircraft carrier due to shifting strategic priorities. The conversion work was halted in 1943 by direct order of Hitler, leaving the ship unfinished. In 1945, during the Soviet assault, the incomplete Weser sank in Königsberg and was later salvaged and dismantled by the Soviet Union. This kit gives you the unique opportunity to build a ship that never fully came to life, yet remains a captivating story of wartime engineering.
