With the 1:24 Hasegawa 20810 Lancia Stratos HF 1980 Monte-Carlo Rally, you can build one of the most legendary rally cars ever in the striking private Team Chardonnet version. The Stratos was developed specifically with rally competition in mind and became an icon thanks to its compact shape, powerful Ferrari engine and excellent handling. This kit represents the car driven by B. Darniche to second place in the 1980 Monte-Carlo Rally, carrying car number 1.
The Lancia Stratos was designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone and emerged in the early 1970s as a revolutionary sports and rally car. Its combination of strong power delivery, excellent traction, rigid construction and carefully developed suspension made it exceptionally successful. The Stratos won three consecutive World Rally Championships in 1974, 1975 and 1976, securing its place in motorsport history.
This Hasegawa release is moulded in blue plastic and includes new decals for the 1980 Monte-Carlo Rally version. Once completed, the model measures approximately 16 cm long and 7.8 cm wide. It is a superb scale model of a car that perfectly combines rally emotion, Italian design and motorsport heritage.
