Snake Island, also known as Zmiinyi Island, is located in the Black Sea and played an important strategic role during the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The island came under Russian control at the beginning of the war, but following months of Ukrainian military operations, Russian forces withdrew on 30 June 2022. The liberation of the island became a significant moment in the struggle for control of the Black Sea. The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces are known for their specialised military duties and provide the subject for this distinctive Master Box figure set. The miniature offers a recognisable representation of a modern Ukrainian soldier and reflects the historical events of this period.

With this Master Box model kit, you can build a characterful military figure that is ideal as a standalone display model or as the centrepiece of a detailed diorama. The 1:24 scale provides plenty of opportunities to carefully paint the various elements of the military equipment and apply subtle weathering techniques for a realistic appearance. Position the figure in a modern military setting, on rocky terrain or in a diorama inspired by the events surrounding Snake Island. Combine the model with suitable terrain accessories and landscape scenery to create a convincing historical display.
