This plastic model kit includes four German soldiers and one dog in relaxed poses, complemented by field equipment and accessories such as canteens and a cooking stove. This makes the set an excellent choice for an Afrika Korps diorama or as an addition to an existing WWII modelling project. A vehicle is not included.

The Deutsches Afrikakorps, commonly abbreviated as DAK, was formed in February 1941 after Italian forces had suffered serious defeats against the British. Led by General and later Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, its task was to support the Italian ally and stop the British advance in Libya. Beginning with the 5th Light Division, the force expanded to include the 15th Panzer Division and 90th Light Division. Rommel's offensive operations inflicted a series of defeats on the British during 1941 and 1942 and earned him the nickname Desert Fox.

At the same time, German forces in North Africa continually struggled with supply problems. Following the major defeat at the Second Battle of El Alamein in October and November 1942, they were forced to retreat towards Tunisia, where fighting continued until May 1943. Dragon 6063 gives you the opportunity to depict a quieter, more human moment from this historic campaign. At Most-Models.com, you can order this Dragon WWII figure set with fast delivery and excellent customer service.
