Description

The 1:35 HobbyBoss 84516 BT-2 Late is a plastic model kit of a Soviet light tank with a distinctive place in early tank development. This BT-2 comes from the interwar period and the beginning of the Second World War, a time when speed, mobility and new technical concepts played a major role in the evolution of armoured vehicles.

The BT-2 was developed from Walter Christie wheel-track vehicles imported from the United States to the Soviet Union in 1930. What made this concept special was its ability to move on both wheels and tracks. On wheels, it offered high road speed, while the tracks provided better off-road capability. That makes this tank an interesting subject for modellers who enjoy early Soviet armour, experimental military engineering and characterful 1:35 armoured vehicles.

With refined detail, a multi-slide moulded hull and turret, and a photo-etched detail part, this HobbyBoss kit gives you a strong basis for a convincing scale model. The BT-2 also formed the foundation for the later BT-5 and BT-7 vehicles, making this model a fitting addition to a collection focused on Soviet tank development. Order today from Most-Models.com and benefit from fast delivery, excellent customer service and a strong range of HobbyBoss model kits, Soviet tanks and 1:35 military vehicles.
