With the 1:35 Tamiya 28501 Fukuiraptor CLIC LOC, you can build a highly realistic dinosaur model based on academic research from Japan. Fukuiraptor kitadaniensis lived around 120 million years ago in what is now Fukui Prefecture and was a carnivorous dinosaur with sharp teeth, large claws, long hind legs and a slender body. The known fossil specimen measured around 4.7 metres in length, although Fukuiraptor is believed to have grown even larger.

Tamiya developed the shape, pose and skin texture from research carried out by recognised academic institutions, with cooperation from Dinosaur Institute Ltd., design consulting by Kazunari Araki and supervision by Soki Hattori of Fukui Prefectural University and the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. Thanks to the CLIC LOC system, the parts simply snap together without cement. The head is slide-moulded for crisp detail around the mouth and teeth, while the claws, long tail, muscular hind legs and skin texture are all carefully reproduced.
