1:48 ICM 48314 Bristol Beaufort Mk.I - Bombing raid - Propeller Aircraft Plastic Model kit
The ICM 1:48 Bristol Beaufort Mk.I - Bombing Raid is a detailed model kit of the famous torpedo bomber used by the RAF during World War II. The Bristol Beaufort Mk.I was delivered to RAF Coastal Command in November 1939 and immediately saw combat operations. In addition to torpedo attacks on enemy warships and transports, this aircraft was also employed for bombing raids on land targets, such as the strike on Hamburg's oil storage facilities in May 1940 and targets along the western coast of France.
This model can be assembled with either 250-pound or 500-pound bombs and includes a set of WWII RAF aviation ordnance with various types of bombs, including high-explosive and armor-piercing bombs. Until April 1941, the Bristol Beaufort was the only aircraft capable of carrying the entire range of British aviation ordnance.
