1:600 Airfix 04206V Scharnhorst WWII - Scharnhorst-class - Vintage Classics - German Battleship Plastic Model kit

With the Airfix 04206V Scharnhorst, you can build one of the best-known German battleships of the Second World War in 1:600 scale. Scharnhorst was constructed for the Kriegsmarine in the mid-1930s and became known for her powerful armament, high speed and operations against enemy merchant shipping. Her distinctive silhouette, imposing superstructure and three main gun turrets make this warship a fascinating subject for enthusiasts of historic naval modelling.

Scharnhorst was armed with nine 11-inch main guns arranged in three triple turrets. During the war, she operated as a commerce raider, threatening Allied shipping routes. Her operational career ended on 26 December 1943 during the Battle of the North Cape, when she was sunk by the British battleship HMS Duke of York.

This Airfix Vintage Classics edition allows you to recreate a recognisable replica of this historic Kriegsmarine battleship. The plastic model kit consists of 159 components and includes an authentic paint scheme, decals and painting instructions for a suitable finish.
