1:72 Airfix 04018V Short SC.7 Skyvan - Vintage Classics - British Transport Aircraft Plastic Model kit

With the Airfix 04018V Short SC.7 Skyvan, you can build a distinctive British transport aircraft with a striking box-shaped design in 1:72 scale. The Skyvan made its first flight in 1963 and was developed as a practical, reliable and economical aircraft for transporting cargo and passengers. Its characteristic fuselage, spacious cargo compartment and rear loading ramp made it a recognisable aircraft in the world of transport aviation.

The twin-turboprop aircraft was designed to operate from short and relatively unprepared runways. This versatility made the Skyvan attractive to both civilian and military operators around the world. Production continued until 1986, with approximately 150 aircraft built. The Skyvan 3 eventually became the most widely produced version. The aircraft also saw service during the Falklands War, including military transport operations carried out by Argentina.

This Airfix Vintage Classics edition brings a characterful transport aircraft to your modelling workbench. The plastic model kit offers a choice of two authentic paint schemes and includes decals and painting instructions. STL files are also available for 3D printing alternative five- or seven-bladed propellers, allowing you to further customise the model to suit your chosen version.
