1:72 Hasegawa 52487 ASF-X Shinden II Ace Combat 30th Anniversary - Fictional Multirole Combat Aircraft Plastic Model kit

A futuristic fighter aircraft, spectacular anniversary markings and a design straight from the world of Ace Combat! With the Hasegawa 52487 ASF-X Shinden II Ace Combat 30th Anniversary, you can recreate this remarkable fictional multirole fighter as a plastic model kit in 1:72 scale. This special release celebrates thirty years of the famous Ace Combat video game series and features an exclusive commemorative livery designed by renowned Japanese illustrator Hidetaka Tenjin. The striking design offers a modern interpretation of the distinctive fire pattern from the original Ace Combat game. The impressive box artwork was also created by Tenjin.

The ASF-X Shinden II is an advanced fictional combat aircraft made famous by the Ace Combat series, including Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. Its design combines futuristic aerodynamics with canard wings, distinctive wingtips and directional jet exhaust nozzles. Within the fictional universe, the Shinden II was developed as a versatile fighter capable of performing a wide range of operational missions. Its advanced design incorporates special flight configurations for high-speed performance, stealth capabilities and short take-offs with vertical landings. The combination of distinctive twin tail fins, movable wing components and innovative engine technology gives the ASF-X Shinden II an instantly recognisable appearance.

Hasegawa has equipped this anniversary model with extensive options for displaying the aircraft in different configurations. You can choose between three modes: Standard, SSC (Stealth Super Cruise) and STOVL (Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing). The canards and tail fins are movable, while interchangeable components allow the wingtips and engine nozzles to be positioned either normally or angled downwards. The landing gear can also be assembled in two configurations: extended for a parked aircraft or retracted for an in-flight display. The kit includes a seated pilot figure and a display stand. The aircraft components are moulded in white plastic, while the supplied decals allow you to reproduce Hidetaka Tenjin's exclusive 30th-anniversary commemorative livery.
