This 20 ml metallic acrylic paint is the Base step within the Real Heavy Metal system and is designed for a powerful, stable metallic shine with maximum intensity.

Real Heavy Metal was developed and refined by IONIC for more than a year to reduce issues such as visible brush marks, uneven shine, dull metallics, harsh highlights and loss of reflectivity. This gives you a fast and controlled workflow whether you are a beginner or an experienced painter.

Olive Gold Base features a high-coverage, fast-drying and self-levelling formula capable of covering in a single coat. Ultra-fine metallic pigment produces realistic reflections and a smooth finish. Apply it by brush or airbrush and combine it with Metallic Wash and Metallic Highlight within the complete system.

The durable paint is resistant to enamels, oils and weathering effects and does not reactivate with water once fully dry. Olive Gold Base can also be mixed with other IONIC acrylics to create cool, warm, aged, oxidised or fully customised metallic effects.
