With AMMO MIG IO0828 IONIC Smart Colors - Real Heavy Metal - Astral Violet Metallic Wash, you can add controlled shadows, extra volume and definition to violet metallic surfaces without losing their metallic shine. The wash flows easily into panel lines, joints and recessed details, making it easy to bring striking metallic effects to life.

Astral Violet Metallic Wash is the Wash step within the Real Heavy Metal system. Apply it after Base and before Highlight to quickly create a harmonious result without complicated blending or mixing. The system was developed and refined by IONIC for more than a year for a bright, stable and true metallic finish.

Self-levelling properties and ultra-fine metallic pigment provide smooth results with realistic reflections. The paint is suitable for brush and airbrush and works perfectly for miniatures, fantasy figures, wargaming, mechas, robots, sci-fi armour, steampunk and scale models.

Once fully dry, the paint does not reactivate with water and is resistant to enamels, oils and weathering effects without lifting. Mix it with other IONIC acrylics for fully customised metallic effects.
