Vallejo 70266 Model Color - Starter Set Colour Set with 1 Exclusive Miniature and 1 Brush - Acrylic Set 12x18 ml Paint set

Painting a historical miniature army starts with the right colours, a good brush and a little inspiration. The Vallejo 70266 Model Color Starter Set brings all three together! This comprehensive acrylic paint set includes 12 carefully selected Model Color paints in 18 ml bottles, an exclusive miniature of a French grenadier from the Napoleonic Wars and a high-quality synthetic detail brush. With an illustrated step-by-step guide and an accompanying video tutorial, it provides an excellent introduction to historical miniature painting. Experienced figure painters will also appreciate the versatile selection of colours for their next project.

The colour selection has been specially developed for historical wargaming miniatures and covers a broad range of subjects, from Antiquity to the Napoleonic Wars. Together, the twelve shades create a balanced palette for painting uniforms, fabrics, leather, wood, metals and skin tones. The paints can also be mixed to produce additional shades and natural transitions between highlights and shadows. This versatile combination makes the set suitable for representing a wide variety of historical armies and periods.

What makes this Vallejo Starter Set particularly appealing is its combination of quality paints and a complete introductory painting project. The exclusive 43 mm French grenadier miniature provides an ideal subject for practising different techniques. The synthetic Detail No. 1 brush allows you to work carefully on both larger areas and finer details. An illustrated booklet guides you through the painting process step by step, while a QR code provides access to a complete video tutorial showing how to paint the included figure. This allows you to learn how to combine colours, highlight details and create additional depth through carefully placed highlights and shadows.
