Vallejo 74236 Squidmar Color - Bone Dust - Acrylic - 18 ml Paint bottle

A warm yellowish-brown shade is particularly suitable for painting aged bones and natural materials. Vallejo Squidmar Color Bone Dust is a medium yellowish-brown acrylic paint with a noticeable yellow undertone. It is ideal for bone structures, skulls, horns, parchment and dusty surfaces. This versatile shade also offers plenty of possibilities for sand, aged wood and weathered accessories.

Bone Dust provides an excellent base colour for skeletons and other bone-like components. Use it as a warm mid-tone and combine it with dark brown for deep shadows between ribs, teeth and other details. Lighter ivory shades, such as Old Skull, can then be added for convincing highlights. This creates a natural, aged appearance on bones and horns without making the details excessively white or bright.

The acrylic paint is formulated for brush application and offers a good balance of coverage and colour intensity. It is therefore suitable for larger bone structures as well as precise small details. The convenient 18 ml dropper bottle helps you dispense small quantities and prepare consistent mixtures for different earthy and ivory-coloured surfaces.
