From the famous Sidewinder air-to-air missile to powerful gun pods and advanced anti-radiation missiles, the Hasegawa 36203 Aircraft Weapons C set allows you to equip your American military aircraft models with an impressive and realistic selection of external stores. This comprehensive plastic model accessory kit in 1:48 scale contains a versatile range of guided missiles, external gun pods and associated launchers. It provides excellent opportunities to recreate various historical weapons configurations for American jet fighters and attack aircraft. An appealing addition for modellers looking to enhance aircraft from the Cold War and later military periods with extra detail.

During the second half of the twentieth century, the United States developed an extensive range of guided weapons for different aerial combat roles. The AIM-9 Sidewinder became one of the best-known heat-seeking air-to-air missiles, while the AIM-7 Sparrow employed radar guidance for longer-range interceptions. Weapons such as the AGM-65 Maverick and several anti-radiation missiles were developed for attacks against ground targets. The AGM-45 Shrike, AGM-78 Standard and AGM-88 HARM were specifically designed to engage enemy radar installations. Alongside these missiles, external gun pods provided aircraft with additional firepower, including the well-known SUU-23/A containing a 20 mm Vulcan cannon.

Hasegawa brings these varied weapons systems together in one accessory set featuring eighteen different types of missiles, gun pods and launchers. The contents include several AIM-9 Sidewinder variants, AIM-7 Sparrow and AIM-4 Falcon missiles, various air-to-ground missiles and three types of external gun pods. LAU-88A, AERO 7A-1 and AERO 5A-1 launchers are also supplied for mounting specific missile systems. The detailed plastic components offer plenty of opportunities to equip compatible aircraft models with historically appropriate external stores. Aircraft Weapons C is an excellent choice for personalising your military aircraft collection and recreating realistic operational loadouts.
