1:72 Heller 35806 M142 HIMARS - American Multiple Rocket Launcher - Starter Kit Plastic Model kit

A powerful rocket launcher, a robust six-wheeled chassis and the imposing appearance of modern American artillery: the M142 HIMARS is one of the world's most recognisable rocket artillery systems. With the Heller 35806 M142 HIMARS Starter Kit, you can recreate this distinctive military vehicle as a plastic model kit in 1:72 scale. Its characteristic armoured cab, large off-road tyres and rear-mounted launcher module capture the unmistakable appearance of the original vehicle. The Starter Kit edition makes this set an appealing choice for both beginners and experienced modellers interested in modern military vehicles.

The M142 HIMARS, short for High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, was developed to combine powerful rocket artillery with exceptional mobility and accurate target engagement. The vehicle is based on a military 6×6 truck chassis and entered service with the US Army in 2005. Unlike heavier tracked rocket artillery systems, HIMARS can travel quickly by road and relocate after firing. Its launcher can carry a pod containing six GMLRS rockets or a single larger tactical missile, depending on the configuration. Thanks to its versatility and mobility, HIMARS has become an important part of modern military artillery forces.

Heller presents this modern American rocket artillery vehicle as a practical Starter Kit in 1:72 scale. The model comprises 77 parts and captures the distinctive construction of the M142, including its armoured driver's cab, six-wheeled chassis and large rocket launcher module. The Starter Kit also includes essential modelling supplies, including paints, a brush and model cement. The vehicle's characteristic details offer excellent opportunities for accurate military camouflage painting and realistic weathering. Display the completed HIMARS as a standalone model or combine it with other modern military vehicles in an artillery or training ground diorama.
